Learn to Sew at Dondero Group 1/Tues

Service Description
**If class is fully booked, you will need to email jess@craftbarnmaine.com to be added to the waitlist** Will you be a 4th or 5th grader as of September 1, 2025? Join Jess from the Craft Barn for this after school series. Class will take place on Tuesdays from 2:30-4 pm. Classes will be held on 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10 Students will learn how to use a Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine, learn how to sew by hand, and learn all the basics of sewing safely. We will learn how to stock our tool boxes, how to select fabrics and how to follow simple patterns. At the end of 6 lessons, students will leave with a handful of homemade projects. All supplies included. If your student has previously attended one of Jess' sewing lessons at Dondero, they will continue on with new projects, learning new skills. Group 1 on Tuesdays is a 6 week session. THIS SERIES OF LESSONS IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO DONDERO STUDENTS. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU ARE A DONDERO ELEMENTARY STUDENT IN GRADE 4 OR GRADE 5.
